ABOUT

Hello! My name is Aishwarya Sukumaran and I am a Junior studying International Economics and Business Administration at The George Washington University. I have a passion for non-profit communications, global marketing, and graphic design and I am looking for opportunities in marketing, advertisement, or public relations. 

 

My exposure to marketing began with my internship with Manchester City Football Club where I work as a brand marketing intern to manage independent social media pages on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. I create unique designs using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Canva to enhance my social presence and increase online outreach for the team. That position is what really started my journey into graphic design and marketing.

Since then, I have looked for ways to combine my passion for civic engagement and public service with my social outreach skills. I am the Director of Marketing for District Reign FC, a DC-based non-profit soccer academy focused on helping high-school students grow as leaders and athletes. I am also the Communications Fellow for America Scores, a national non-profit organization focusing on after-school programs for inner-city youth.
